Frequently Prescribed Medications

All medications prescribed by our provider here at State of Mind Health & Wellness have multiple uses.  Please make sure your provider has discussed with you, why you are taking specific medication(s) prescribed to you.

DEPRESSION

• Zoloft (Sertraline):  used to treat depression, anxiety, panic disorder, Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).
• Prozac (Fluoxetine):  used to treat depression, anxiety, PMDD, OCD, Bulimia nervosa, panic disorder, bipolar depression & treatment resistant depression when used w/ Zyprexa.  Can also be used to treat PTSD. 
• Wellbutrin (Bupropion):  used to treat depression, seasonal affective disorder (type of depression related to changes in the seasons), Nicotine addition (Bupropion SR).  Can also be used to treat Bipolar depression, ADHD, & Sexual dysfunction.
• Lexapro (Escitalopram):  used to treat depression and anxiety.  Can also be used to treat panic disorder, OCD, PTSD, social anxiety, & PMDD.

ANXIETY

• Vistaril (Hydroxyzine):  used to treat anxiety
• Buspar (Buspirone)

MOOD/BEHAVIOR

• Abilify (Aripiprazole)
• Zyprexa (Olanzapine)
• Seroquel (Quetiapine)

INSOMNIA

• Rozerem (Ramelteon)
• Trazodone (Desyrel)

ADHD

• Strattera (Atomoxetine)
